My Story

Spirituality has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. For more than twenty years, I have devoted myself to exploring the sacred, understanding the human experience, and discovering the many ways spirituality brings meaning, connection, and understanding to our lives. What began as a personal spiritual journey gradually became a lifelong vocation of ministry, spiritual counseling, and compassionate service to others.

My Spiritual Journey

My spiritual journey began within Wicca. After a few years it led me into Christianity, and eventually into Anglican ministry, where I developed a deep appreciation for contemplative prayer, spiritual formation, pastoral care, and the importance of accompanying others through life’s joys and difficulties.

Over the years, my spiritual exploration has grown to encompass many of the world’s religious and contemplative traditions, including Anglicanism, Catholicism, Christian mysticism, Benedictine and Franciscan spirituality, Judaism, Kabbalah, Islam, Sufism, Buddhism, Zen, Taoism, Celtic spirituality, Wicca, and other earth-centered spiritual traditions.

My experiences within these traditions have deepened my appreciation for the diverse ways people understand and encounter the sacred. They have also taught me that spirituality is not confined to religious institutions, particular beliefs, or prescribed practices. It is a deeply personal aspect of human life that can offer meaning, connection, comfort, and opportunities for growth.

My Ministry and Counseling Experience

My ministerial background is rooted in the Anglican priesthood, where my work has centered on pastoral care, spiritual counseling, religious education, and spiritual formation. As my understanding of spirituality expanded, I felt increasingly called to offer care beyond the boundaries of a single religious tradition, leading me toward interfaith ministry.

Throughout my ministerial and counseling experience, I have come to appreciate the importance of simply being present with another person. People seek spiritual care for many reasons: grief, uncertainty, personal struggles, changes in faith, questions of identity and purpose, or the need to speak openly with someone who will listen without judgment.

My approach is grounded in compassionate listening, meaningful conversation, and respect for each person’s unique experiences and beliefs. I do not approach counseling with a predetermined path or a set of answers. Instead, I seek to understand the person before me, offer perspective when it is helpful, and provide steady companionship as we explore whatever life has brought them.

My Approach to Spiritual Care

I believe that spiritual counseling is, above all, a relationship built upon trust, compassion, and genuine human connection. Whether someone is deeply religious, spiritually curious, questioning their beliefs, or simply struggling with life’s circumstances, they deserve to be met with dignity, warmth, and understanding.

My hope is to offer a place where you can speak freely, set down what has become heavy, and know that you do not have to carry everything alone.

Wherever you are in life, and whatever has brought you here, I would be honored to hear your story and walk alongside you.
